A suite of leather upholstered seat furniture, circa 1920, comprising; a two seat sofa, with embossed grape and vine frieze, 83cm high, 133cm wide, 85cm deep, a pair of chairs, each with conforming frieze, together with a similar foot stool (4). Also with a quantity of further spare leather Condition Report: All items with marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Upholstery on all items in distressed condition, with some folds, tears, small holes and losses. The sides and back panels of the sofa all with large tears and losses. The back and side panels of both chairs have been re-upholstered in a similar shade of leather. All velvet cushions in relatively fair condition overall with just the expected wear. An early to mid 20th century three piece bergere suite comprising sofa and two armchairs with double cane-work panels and later floral upholstered cushions, length of sofa 197cm (af).Additional InformationLots of damage to the cane work, especially on the arms of the arm chairs and the back of the larger suite, the cane work is in need of serious attention, chipping to the feet, losses to the veneer.
