A Fine Quality Regency Rosewood Sofa Table. The top inlaid with stringing and measuring 36 ins x 24 ins (91 cms x 61 cms) with two rounded flaps either end on fly brackets lifting to extend the top to 50 ins (127 cms) in length. The frieze accommodating two drawers with turned knop handles on one side with corresponding dummy drawers on the other, raised on tapered rectangular end supports above trestle bases with carved acanthus ornamentation and scrolled feet terminating on brass castors. The supports united by a turned stretcher capped with rosettes. 29½ ins (75 cms) in height.
