Lot 1342
A Regency mahogany sofa table, each flap crossbanded and with rounded corners, fitted with two frieze drawers and raised on downswept legs united by a turned centre stretcher. Width 34 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The sofa table is generally in good condition. The top is not warped and neither are the flaps. The frieze drawers are in good order and have had only one set of handles which appear to be original. The centre stretcher is in good condition as are the legs. The castors are original and solid. Width closed 34 ins, width open 55 ins, height to top 28.25 ins.
Lot 1380
A Georgian mahogany sofa table, crossbanded and with moulded edge, fitted with two frieze drawers and raised on four downswept legs terminating in brass castors. Width 36 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The sofa table is generally in good structural order. It does however require a polish in our opinion. The top is a little stained and dry. Particularly the crossbanded veneer which does have a small loss to the top left hand corner. The flaps are not warped but a little faded. The drawer handles are later replacements but go through the original holes. The drawer fronts are again faded. Three of the legs are in good condition, one has had an old repair to the upper section which will be visible from our image. The castors look to be Victorian rather than earlier.
