A George III mahogany and upholstered sofa, circa 1800, in the manner of George Hepplewhite, 85cm high, 160cm wide, 62cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, this appears to have been fully restored - probably when it was upholstered, the upholstery appears to be fairly recent and the condition of it is as such as to be expected from use in a domestic setting. The frame is solid and stable, the central rear leg is an addition - probably for added stability, there is some later glue to the underside of the rails where they join the supports, the rear side of the seat back has later timber slats.
