A fine early Victorian carved gilt wood sofa in Louis XV style, at the centre of the back is an ornately pierced and carved oval panel, the whole stands on Lewty`s patent castors. Note: This sofa was purchased circa 1971 at an auction at Government House in Nassau, the Bahamas. (See Illustration)
