A William & Mary-Style Walnut-Framed Three-Seater Sofa, late 19th/early 20th century, with removeable loose pink floral covering, the squab cushions on turned and carved bulbous forelegs with Spanish scrolled claw feet joined by a flattened stretcher 170cm by 70cm by 104cm Back support is weak. Frame is structurally sound. Metal braces fitted to the underside of the flattened stretcher. Variations in colour to the loose pink covering (see images). The webbing to the underside of the sofa needs attention. Traces of the original? Pink and gold fabric beneath the loose cover. The squab cushions are feather-filled, however, the back support and arms are possibly horse hair.

The caning has no splits or breaks, but shows signs of wear throughout - The upholstery with some small stains. The springs have been replaced and there are some small losses to the grooves that house the springs.
