Usually, he does not allow anyone in, not even his family. This is the private and solitary time he needs to wind down and relax. But Mark is given access. Ed leans back on a Union Jack sofa, smoking a roll-up, ashtray alongside, a plastic water bottle in his hand, and a towel around his neck. His checked shirt is soaked with his sweat, after an energetic two hours on stage. Ed has been given the England football team’s changing room as his own dressing room. There are brand new England football shirts on hangers, with football boots below, in the England players’ changing spaces. They are a gift to Ed and his team from England captain, Wayne Rooney, who is a good friend of Ed’s. Conversation Piece (Italian: Gruppo di famiglia in un interno) is a 1974 Italian drama film by director Luchino Visconti. The film name refers to an informal group portrait, especially those painted in Britain in the 18th century, beginning in the 1720s. The film explores such themes as the collision between old and new, imminence of death, existential crisis and social gap between generations. Excellent condition. Victorian rosewood dropleaf sofa table with two fitted drawers, central column quadraform legs, terminating in brass casters. 94cm wide (extends to 154cm) 61cm deep 74 cm highThe table is in good all round condition. There has been a repair to one of the splayed legs which has been glued to the pedestal.The base of the table top has had woodworm.,which has been treated in the past there is no fresh activity.The table top is good, however it does have some indentations, scratches and minor scuffs. There is also a dark ring mark to the top. One drawer handle has come loose, we do have the handle.

Front RHS corner chip or veneer loss to the top of the edge. Back LHS corner chip of veneer loss. Table surface some light bleaching, along with some scuffs, surface abrasions/light wear and tear. The supports are all solid and good, some minor wear and tear chipping to back knees.
