Signed colour 7.5 x 10.5 reproduction of a pastel drawing of Pele by the artists Stewart Beckett and Jose Palomares, 1999, depicting the footballer in a half length pose holding a globe of the earth. Signed by Pele in bold black ink with his name alone to a light area of the image. Professionally double matted in black and framed and glazed in a silver coloured frame to an overall size of 15 x 17. EX
MOONWALKERS: Alan Bean (the fourth man to walk on the moon) signed colour 10 x 8 photograph of Bean standing in a full length pose on the moon operating some scientific apparatus close to the lunar module. Signed in bold blue ink to a light area of the image, adding Apollo 12 and a small drawing of a star in his hand beneath his signature; Charlie Duke (the tenth man to walk on the moon) signed colour 8 x 10 cardstock photograph of Duke standing in a three quarter length pose wearing his white spacesuit and with his hands resting on a globe. Signed in bold blue ink to a light area of the image, adding Apollo 16 in his hand beneath his signature. VG to EX, 2
3 interesting beakers. A polished alloy example for the victims of the Zeppelin Schmaben, 28 June 1912. With die-struck inscription and Zeppelin, height 115mm. Plus an 835 silver beaker, engraved with flag bearing a cross, in the centre of which a stylised eagle on a globe with Zeppelin and swastika with inscription ‘Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei’ and ‘GMBH’, 105mm. Also an embossed pewter souvenir beaker of the Brussels Exhibition, 1910 with two panels of prominent buildings with an airship in the sky above, 82mm. GC (3).
A piece of the original fabric off the Graf Zeppelin LZ-127 given to Clara Adams, (see note). A small square section of silver coloured fabric measuring 12cmx10cm with the wording `Original fabric of the envelope (covering of the hull) of the dirigible Graf Zeppelin. This was on the round-the-world flight 1929 Clara Adams`. Together with a souvenir brooch of the Zeppelin on an enamelled globe. Brooch 35mm. A unique item. GC illustrated on Plate 12. Note: Clara Adams is little known today, but in her day she was known as one of the pioneers of commercial aviation from the 1920`s-40`s. The Lady was known as a `First Flighter` as she was aboard the first flights of the Graf Zeppelin and Hindenburg. She was also on the first flights of the Clipper Boats run by Pan-Am thus becoming well known within the aviation world. Widowed at a young age of 29 and having been married to a much older wealthy company President George L. Adams of The American Leather Tanning Co, she was left a very wealthy lady, who then indulged herself into her favourite passion, flying. She began her long association with Zeppelins in 1924 with a letter of introduction to Hugo Eckener from Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg, to whom she was related. (Clara Adams was born Clara Grabau, on December 3, 1884, to a German family living in Cincinnati, Ohio; her grandmother was Augusta von Hindenburg, a cousin of the German general and future president.) Her letter of introduction to Eckener ‘opened the magic doors of the Zeppelin realm,’ as she described it, and Eckener invited her to fly on one of the test flights of the LZ-126/ZR-III, which had been built for the Americans as war reparations and would become the United States Navy airship USS Los Angeles.
A 3rd Reich silver cigarette case. The lid engraved with a map of Europe, Africa, the Atlantic and America showing the route of the Zeppelin from Berlin to Rio De Janeiro, with connecting aeroplane flights at both ends, the principal cites picked out with tiny coloured stones and named, 3 Reich eagle, globe and Zeppelin device top right. Size 90x90x18mm minor wear illustrated on Plate 21.

Signed G.Morin and stamped with the maker`s name H.Noack, Berlin Friedenau. Mounted on a large rectangular marble plinth with applied copper plate, engraved with a globe showing Zeppelin route from Friedrichshafen to New York and inscribed `Zur Errinerung an die Atlantikuberguerung von LZ 126 unter Fuhrung von Kapitan Dr. H. Eckener, 81 Studen und 2 Minuten 8050 kilometer, Oktober 1924`. Height 75.5 cm illustrated on Plate 22.

Key-Pattern bands to rim, shoulders and base, with applied copper aviator`s badge of eagle on globe within Imperial crowned wreath, with `19` and `17` engraved on bold figures on either side, with inscription below `Helmut Bruck. Zum Andenken an die unverganglichen Heldentaten von Z8 und LZ.90` (In commemoration of the imperishable and heroic deeds of Z8 and LZ90). Maker`s mark `GE Juncker, Berlin SW68` inside base. Globe engraved with the names of the continents and principal countries, applied brass Zeppelin on its round the world route, the top inset with copper Zeppelin medallion in yellow enamelled circle `Luftschiff 127 Graf Zeppelin`. The base engraved with names of the expedition leaders, `Baron Constantin von Neurath, Hauptmann Hans von Schiller` and `Zur Erinnerung An Die Erste Weltflug, 1929`. Mounted on a short dark wood plinth. Height overall 35cm.VGC illustrated on outside back cover.
A clear resin ice bucket in the form of a globe. The northern hemisphere is hinged to open. With etched continents and countries, and with Zeppelin inscribed `Nord-Amerika Fahrten LZ.127` lying across the North Pole and its 1927 route indicated. On tubular Perspex sprung frame. VGC. Minor marking.

Diameter 34cm. Mounted on a mahogany pedestal with round base incorporating a compass. Height overall 64cm. GC for age, some age patina, illustrated on Plate 25.

6 metal-backed machine embroidered badges. Each with pin fixing. Five of the six depict a Zeppelin flying over a globe with the inscription ‘Zeppelin Eckner Spende’. This refers to the Zeppelin-Eckner fund set up by Hugo Eckner in 1925 to raise funds by public subscription for the building of the LZ127 ‘Graf Zeppelin’. The remaining badge depicts a Zeppelin and the inscription ‘ZR111’. The ZR111 was completed in 1924 to the order of the US Navy. It was flown across the Atlantic to Lakehurst and was subsequently re-named the ‘Los Angeles’. GC

Also a cast medallion of coloured base-metal , made in commemoration of Count Zeppelin. Inscribed ‘Pioniere der Luftfahrt, Graf Zeppelin 1838-1917’ (Pioneer of Air Travel, Count Zeppelin 1838-1917). Diameter 4.7cm. 2 fixing holes. Plus a silver plated rectangular medallion with overlapping scrolls, top `1838 Graf Zeppelin 1917` and bottom “LZ `Hindenburg` Uber Erdkugel 1936” with top of the globe and in the centre the LZ-129. Size 6.x 6.5cm., with suspension loop broken. Together with a similar modern copy. Also an indented oval copper medallion commemorating the Zeppelin round the world tour of 1929. GC
