The following eight lots are from a private collection which form part of the large collection known as "Tjukurrpa" or "Dreamtime Collection". The collection was brought together for the celebrations of the Australian bicentennial anniversary year in 1988 and toured the world, being exhibited in venues such as Musée Gauguin, the Pacific Design Center (Los Angeles), MOMA, and numerous other art galleries across the globe. The collection features some of the most noteworthy work from the Central Western Desert of the era. NEDDIE INCAMALA and EILEEN WILLIAMS (nee NAPALTJARRI, b.1956); acrylic on canvas, "Honey Ant Dreaming", inscribed and titled verso, 76 x 61cm, unframed.
BRITISH COINS, George III, Copper Pattern Halfpenny, 1788, struck on a 37mm flan, by Pingo, laureate and cuirassed bust right, no stops in legend, toothed border both sides, rev inverted die axis, standing facing Britannia holding olive branch and wand, shield to left, globe to right, date in exergue, BRITANNIA with stop, edge plain (Peck 921 VR). YORKSHIRE. around., rev terrestrial globe mounted on a stand between a rose and thistle, BRITISH PENNY above, edge I PROMISE TO PAY ON DEMAND THE BEARER ONE PENNY. (DH 143). Good extremely fine with substantial original colour, a little wear on the high points both sides.
COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, British Historical Medals, Jacobite, Birth of Prince Charles, 1720, Bronze Medal, by O Hamerani, conjoined busts of James and Clementina right, rev PROVIDENTIA OBSTETRIX, Clementina standing with the infant Charles, to her side a column and a globe depicting the British Isles, 41mm (Eimer 488; MI 452/60). A few light marks and minimal die rust, about extremely fine.

Second extremely fine, the first nearly so. (2)
COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, World Medals, Russia, The Successful Launch of Sputnik 1, 1957, Bronze Medal, scientist, plan in hand, before the rocket blasting off, Sputnik circles the globe (showing the Soviet Union), date and legend, 65mm, in original(?) card box. Extremely fine, rare. Believed only 645 specimens struck. Sputnik 1 was was the first artificial Earth satellite. Launched on 4 October, 1954, it spent three months in orbit, burning up on re-entry on 4 January, 1958. It had travelled about 43.5 million miles .

Items relating to Lindbergh’s first solo crossing of the Atlantic, 1927, comprising: folding menu printed in black and yellow for “Luncheon offered by the American Club of Paris to Capt Charles A. Lindbergh at the Hotel Ambassador on May 24th 1927” including “Bombe glacée Lindbergh”, with top of the globe and details of flight route, on the front is a lithograph of Lindbergh’s plane Spirit of St Louis, the Eiffel Tower and searchlights and on the back the plane flying over the Atlantic; a small card with autograph of “Charles A Lindbergh”; an etching of the plane in a blaze of light; 2 etchings of French walled towns; all the artwork is signed by the artist A.C.Webb.
