CONDITION REPORTS: The globe itself is in reasonable condition with minimal surface scratching, but there is a noticeable graze on the surface, just below Ursa Major. The removable brass quadrant on the top of the globe has been soldered with lead at the central X-join and it is possible that a positioning pin is missing, although the quadrant sits neatly on top.
