A large early 19th. century Dieppe ivory and ebony centrepiece in the form of a figure of Queen Elizabeth I holding globe and sceptre (sceptre top missing) standing on an ebony globe with ivory mounts and fleur de Lys over sphinx supports, the figure opening to reveal a triptych of the queen and her courtiers, the globe opening on the equator showing two scenes, the lower one of the queen at Tilbury, the upper one with small ships greeting her return to London after the Armada. Ht. figure 14cm., overall 28.5cm.
An Art Deco style bronze table lamp, in the style of Max Le Verrier, bears signature, modelled as a nude, holding aloft a globe crackleure shade, on marble socle 37.5cm, a similar modern table lamp, modelled as an Art Deco lady sitting perched on a marble column, missing shade, 43cm, and a further modern Art Deco style metal table tamp, of column form on square stepped base, missing shade, 38cm. A collection of various programmes, relating to theatre and opera in London from the 1920s into the 1970s kept in various scrap books and folders including original programmes from many of the great theatres such as The Lyceum, The Apollo, The Globe, The Palace and The Royal Opera House together with literature related to Henry Irving and The Lyceum Theatre including an annotated order of service from his memorial at St Martin-in-the-Fields in 1938 and another folder containing photographs and cuttings from the 20s and 30s relating to the likes of Douglas Burbidge, Claude Rains, Heddle Nash, Frederick Ranalow, Peachum and many more
Motoring Globe, Jet 93 red logo across front and back, flat circular globe with pink ground colour,93 printed on sides in red, looks to have had the 3 in 93 defaced by rubbing part of it out with an abrasive the same having been done on all sides and the "Jet" logo ( please be aware of this damage), "Hailware British made" etched to base, height approx. 40cm Some paint loss.

An early 19th century miniature terrestrial globe by Carl Bauer, the 4cm educational globe made up of twelve engraved gores, signed with monogram 'MCB', contained in a marbled paper card box, the lid with a hand-coloured engraved label inscribed 'The earth with its inhabitants', the box containing a concertina pull-out frieze of twenty-eight engraved and hand-coloured peoples and costumes of the world, titled in English and German, 6.2cm wide.
20th century AD. Santiago mint. Obv: crowned arms with J left and 8 right with FERDND VI D G HISPAN ET IND REX legend. Rev: crowned pillars with crowned double globe between with VTRAQVE VNUM legend and o/S mintmark for Santiago with date below. See KM# 5 for type. 23.13 grams. The 8 reales was not issued at Santiago mint for this date. Good very fine. [No Reserve]
