Together with a solid bronze Insurance sign listing no less than four company names. These are: Royal Insurance Company Limited; The Liverpool & London & Globe Insurance Company Limited; The London & Lancashire Insurance Company Limited; Law Union & Rock Insurance Company Limited. Measures 15¼" x 24" and is in excellent condition throughout. Together with a similar but smaller flat sign with 4 separate companies listed, being: Northern Assurance Group; Northern Assurance Co Ltd; White Cross Insurance Co Ltd; London & Scottish Assurance Corpn. Ltd. Measures 17¾" x 9¾" in excellent condition.

Globe Insurance Company substantial, sold bronze Heraldic Lion over Globe Emblem. Measures 21" x 18½" and has the original, dark brown paint on the face. Quite wonderful.

CLC Platform Lamp Interior complete with burner and glass globe. Brass plate affixed to front shows full company name and is also stamped with the location LYDIATE. Lydiate station, located on the Southport & Cheshire Lines Extension Railway off Carr Lane, Lydiate. Opened in 1884 between Aintree Central and Lord Street Southport, it first closed in 1917, along with all other stations on the extension line, due to WW1 economy measures. The station then reopened in 1919, up until 7 January 1952, when goods services regular services ceased. A very scarce survivor.

A fine and large scale model of the three-masted vessel, constructed from kit by a craftsman modeller to exacting standards, of wood and other realistic materials, showing planked hull comprehensively larger cannon amidships on upper-deck, painted white below the waterline with distinctive gilded & black embossed relief full-length frieze below the gunwales, having detailed full-rigging without sails, equipped with pulley-blocks, ratlines and ropes of varying thickness, etc., deck fittings including group of eight cannon mounted amidships on upper deck, capstans, lifeboats and ancillaries etc, mounted on display stand within glazed case, 35in (89cm) overall length. Commissioned c. 1749 from Bedford`s Shipyards, designed for speed with racing-line hull, used extensively by the Royal family for travels around the globe, finally decommissioned and dismantled in 1820.
