VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Movement is not tested as working, the globe itself has some patches of loss, North of Mongolia, Central Europe on the Empire clock stamp itself, some patches in Africa also, significant wear around base of globe and a little dry and faded overall, Equatorial ring and globe seem a little close to each other and therefore rubbing as globe is moved.

In 1986, he was commissioned to sculpt and cast in silver ‘Belisarius’, the Blues and Royals’ drum horse, for the Warrant Officer’s Mess. A second cast, in bronze, was the Household Cavalry’s wedding gift to The Duke and Duchess of York. Internally with some foxing and general age wear browning, some corner creases but generally ok. There are no full page plates in this lot, only black and white text illustrations.
