An interesting and unusual Brass night timepiece on a turned brass stem with a pink glass globe dial having roman numerals, the globe dial is set on a small brass drum which contains the compact movement, a small night light candle can be set on the holder under the globe to illuminate the dial at night, includes the key, glass globe a/f.

A group of six dress miniature medals, attributed to Colour Sergeant William E. Day, comprising MBE, civil issue, BEM, military issue, 1939-45 Defence Medal, War Medal, 1937 Coronation Medal and Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, George VI issue, together with a bronze Royal Marines medallion, detailed `Depot R.M. Company Football 1931`, cased, a Royal Marines cap badge, a petrol lighter made from two Royal Marines plated buttons, the Statutes of the Order of the British Empire, two copies of The Globe & Laurel magazine, a framed black and white photograph, believed to be W.E. Day, and further paperwork, including copy biographical details.
A set of four Samson porcelain Meissen style figures, late 19th Century, possibly representing the Elements, the first modelled as a soldier carrying a shield and sword, the second a maiden with an upturned amphora, the third a maiden with a peacock and a lizard, the fourth a maiden with a cornucopia of fruit, a globe and a lion, each raised on a gilt scroll enriched circular base, underglaze blue marks to bases with incised numerals, height approx 27cm (minor faults and restoration).
