A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT-METAL MANTEL CLOCK, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed Hry Marc/A Paris, the two-train movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the drum shaped case surmounted by a trophy, to one side stands a globe, to the other a winged putto holding a scroll and pen, the stand cast with acanthus leaves and scrolls and with inset floral painted porcelain plaque, raised on an ebonised plinth and under a glass dome.
