Large flaming grenade; the ball bearing laurel sprays surmounted by "Gibraltar" and strap inscribed "Per Mare Per Terram"; globe in relief to centre. Fouled anchor to base. Two loops to reverse. VGC (KK 1106) Worn until 1905 when the white helmet was adopted.

Embroidered onto the Union flag, a large bullion Globe and Laurels with bullion fouled anchor below. Below the flag, a pair of crossed swords over a blue backed bullion chevron. Some service wear, generally GC.

A large example of scarlet cloth embroidered with bullion crowned laurel sprays resting on crossed sabres; centrally a padded bullion Globe set on crossed silk Union flags surmounted by a bugle horn, over a fouled anchor; beneath the wreath, a pair of crossed sabres and chevron. Service wear and mothed. GC The Royal Marine Light Infantry amalgamated with the Royal Marine Artillery in 1923 to form The Royal Marines.

Retains most of its original finish. VGC Under the direction of Grand Admiral Raeder, this War Badge was introduced 24th April 1941.
