Antique Map – World from the North Pole A Physical Planisphere wherein are represented all the known lands and seas with the Great chains of mountains which traverse the globe from the North Pole adapted to Monsr Buache’s memoir^ engraved by B[enjamin] Cole. Uncoloured map on paper approx 15x12ins. No date^ but watermark suggests early 18th c^ and Cole was known to flourish up to about 1710.

Case signed 'Didisheim-Goldschmidt Fils et Cie - Swiss No. 13048'. Swiss case marks for 1893-1934, 0.925 standard CONDITION REPORT: As catalogued, pendant bale deficient. This is a small repair, and can be achieved without affecting the enamel. Minor nibbles to the enamel. See additional image (available upon request). Hands adjust, winds and ticking - no guarantee given as to the time keeping.
A Power Regulator diamond shape petrol globe, c.1960s, with green lettering and stripe and printed in black 'This globe is the property of National Benzole Co. Ltd.', 49 x 57cm CONDITION REPORT: Remnants of original rubber ring to neck. No visible chips but surface scratches. Rubber rim is worn.
