Sur le panneau central est représenté la Mère de Dieu "Rose immarcessible" "qui ne se fane pas". Ce type d’icône montre Marie et Jésus couronnés. La Vierge porte un sceptre entouré de fleurs et d’un verset de l’hymne. Jésus vêtu d’une dalmatique, tient un sceptre et un globe, symbole de son pouvoir royal et universel. La source littéraire de ce thème se trouve dans les Acathistes : hymnes poétiques, écrits en l’honneur de Marie et que l’on doit écouter debout. Sur le volet de gauche : le saint Georges à cheval, Saint Basile, Saint Jean Chrisostome, Saint Nicolas. Sur celui de droite : saint Charalampe, l’empereur Constantin et sainte Hélène et saint Dimitri à cheval.
