A RARE BOXED .177 JUBILEE EDITION ORIGINAL (DIANA) 45 AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 0177, made in 1980 to celebrate 90 years of the Diana works at Rastatt, Germany, with blued 20 1/2in. barrel, large tunnel fore-sight, adjustable rear-sight, the left side of breech-block with the calibre in metric and imperial above 'JUBILAUMSMODELL 1980' over the serial number, blued air-chamber marked 'ORIGINAL' and with the model number, raised applied rail for a telescopic sight, plain beech half-stock with rubber recoil pad, the left side of butt inlet with a circular copper-coloured medallion marked '90 JAHRE DIANAWERK RASTATT' together with the Diana 'globe' trademark, the left side of fore-end inlet with a black lozenge-shaped plaque etched with an illustration of Castle Rastatt and the wording 'SCHLOSS RASTATT', the right side of fore-end with a similar plaque etched with borders, scrolls and geometrics, the whole remaining in unfired condition (untested) and complete with its maker's triangular card carton and instructions, also in good condition.
