A rare Coalport green batwing cabaret or tête-à-tête service, early 20th century comprising two demitasse cups, two saucers, a coffee pot and cover, a cream jug, a sugar bowl and an oval tray, circa 1910-15, printed factory marks in green, numbered 'Y.2665' in puce, the tray 33.5cm wide (tray cracked) (10 pcs including cover)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Tray with a large crack to the centre and a further crack running in a circle near the border (the latter only visible to the front). The tray is also crazed.One saucer and the tea bowl with some crazing to the undersides. The coffee pot with some crazing to the spout, the lower portion of the body and the handle. The coffee pot's finial has been reattached professionally and the tip of the spout has a small amount of further professional restoration.

The green leaves on the exterior of the cups are very worn.
