[Queen Victoria interest] A George IV silver child's drum tea pot and a sugar bowl and cover by Robert Hennell II, London 1821, the tea pot with a ball finial to the domed pull-off cover, a wooden scroll handle and a gadrooned rim, 11.3cm (4 1/2in) long; the bowl and cover conforming, 6.8cm (2 3/4in) diameter, each engraved with a script V , and 24, May 1822 beneath, 175g (5.65 oz) gross Queen Victoria (Alexandrina Victoria, 24th May 1819-1901). This tea pot and sugar basin evidently given to the young princess as a third birthday present. Provenance: By descent to Lord Lichfield (Thomas Patrick John Anson, 5th Earl of Lichfield, 1939-2005); with C. J. Vander Ltd; bought by Ian Pickford Ltd for a collector, the present vendor.

(22.8cm.) high, gross weight 83.2 tr.oz. (4)* Condition: In good condition, marks clear. Ebonised handles with some flaking to finish.
