A Victorian three piece silver tea service, by Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall, assayed London 1887, in the neo-classical style, comprising tea pot, twin handled sugar bowl and milk jug, of of gently tapering ovoid form, with all over bright cut decoration (oval reserves left blank), the tea pot with hinged cover and scroll handle with ivory collars, the sugar and milk jug with gilt washed interiors. A substantial Swedish matched three piece silver coffee service, in the Rococo taste, comprising coffee pot, twin handled sugar bowl and milk jug, the coffee pot and milk jug by C Hammer, impressed Swedish hallmarks for Stockholm 1857, the twin handled sugar bowl by C G Hallberg, impressed Swedish hallmarks for 1914, all of gently tapering circular form with bright cut waisted side, integral applied base rim and out swept pedestal feet and double scroll handle/s, the coffee pot with domed hinged cover with flower and leaf finial, handle with ivory collars and swan neck spout, the milk jug and sugar bowl with gilt washed interiors, (1561.2g/50.2Toz.). Early 19th century Coalport style tea wares decorated with floral sprays and gilt against green border grounds, including, sugar box; two slop bowls; milk jug; four side plates; twenty-two various saucers and twenty-two tea and coffee cups, some a.f.CONDITION REPORT: One slop bowl has stain/heat damage to the base. The sugar bowl's handle has been repaired, the rim has a hairline crack and it's stained inside. Three saucers have hairline cracks, one is pinned.Wide brim cups - three are cracked, one with pinned handle, one lacking handle, one smashed.Four small cups have hairline cracks, two are discoloured. This has been well used and shows signs of use, rubbing to the gilding and decoration.
