Of White Star Line interest; a quantity of Edwardian Gorham heavy-gauge silver plated items, bearing the logo for the International Mercantile Marine Company, comprising a twin handled ice bucket, sauce boat and lidded jug, together with a similar standard sugar bowl, bearing the logo for 'America Line' (shipping), by Walker & Hall, and a quantity of further silver plated items. Some of this collection is believed to have been used on RMS Olympic (sister ship of Titanic), in the first quarter of the 20th century (purchased by the vendor's family in 1924 from the International Mercantile Marine Company, along with a related collection of Stonier tableware items, also in this sale).
