A quantity of 1930s Beswick ceramics decorated with basket weave effect and hand painted with floral motifs, comprising teapot and stand, coffee pot, sugar bowl and milk jug, two dishes, sandwich plate, four cups, six saucers, six side plates and six dessert bowls. CONDITION REPORT: One chip to the rim of one cup, another cup has a couple of hairlines to the sides, circular bowl has four chips to the rim, sandwich plate has glaze chips to the base, side plates have chips to the rims, crazing throughout.

A 1930's Clarice Cliff "Capri" pattern bon jour shaped coffee set comprising coffee pot, jug, sugar bowl and six cups with filled angular handles and six saucers, printed marks, height of coffee pot 19.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Coffee pot: there is a tiny 1cm surface scratch above the spout, some minor surface scratches but otherwise in good condition. Jug: there is a very fine 2cm hairline crack running down one side of the jug from the rim, also a pin head sized glaze chip to the spout, a couple of surface scratches and losses to paintwork, otherwise OK. Sugar bowl: some very minor surface scratches and blemishes to paintwork, otherwise OK. Saucers: one has a very fine glaze hairline to the back, one has a 5cm hairline crack running from the rim, one has three very small chips to the back of the rim, otherwise some surface scratching and minor flecks of paint loss. Cups: very minor surface wear and a couple of tiny flecks of paint loss other wise in good order. See photo for backstamp. All black printed "Bizarre" apart from one cup which doesn't say Bizarre.

CONDITION REPORT: One cup badly cracked, one saucer badly cracked, cake plate worn and rubbed, slight wear elsewhere to the green decoration. All light/dark green printed mark (see photo).

The underside of the bowl engraved with contemporary or near contemporary initials N*C. Marks on the rim of the bowl all present and several clearly descipherable. RUSSIAN TONGS. A pair of late 19th century Russian, silver gilt & enamelled sugar tongs. Stamped 88 Zolotnik mark, Moscow & Cyrillic maker's mark (IKH). CONDITION REPORTS: The tongs are in generally good, clean condition. The enamel is also very clean, except for a slight graze in the red enamel at the top of the bowl on one spoon portion.
TEA SERVICE. A Victorian three piece tea service. Sheffield 1897. 23 1/2 oz. CONDITION REPORTS: 1. The teapot is in generally good condition with no splits, dents or repairs. The lid is well hinged, although faintly loose if shaken. The surface has minor scratching/wear commensurate with some use. 2. The jug is very clean and has no damage. It appears to have been barely used. 3. The sugar bowl has a gilded interior and also appears little used. There is no damage.
