Victorian three-piece tea set in Indian taste, of circular form, highly chased and embossed with goddesses, animals, fish, foliate bands etc, each bearing the initials MR comprising tea pots with angular handle together with sugar bowl and milk jug, both of which have gilt interiors. Tea pot 19cm tall. the sugar bowl 9.5cm tall and 11.5cm diam, the milk jug 9cm tall, all hallmarked Glasgow 1878, maker's mark JR, 1190gms total, within a fitted polished oak case, the compartments with blue baized lining
