Each fully marked underneath. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. Each with vacant cartouche which may have been erased.

A Four-Piece George V Silver Tea-Service, by Edward Barnard and Sons Ltd., London, 1926, 1927 and 1928, each piece with reeded band and on lion mask-capped paw feet, comprising: a teapot; a hot-water jug, each with ebonised handle and finial; a cream-jug and a sugar-bowl, the hot-water jug 17.7cm high, gross weight 47oz 6dwt; Together With: A Silver Plate Mounted Oak Tray, with openwork gallery and on four bun feet, applied with a shield with an engraved inscription from the Great Yarmouth town council dated 1928, 51.5cm wide. Each piece from the tea-service is fully marked underneath. The teapot and hot-water jug further part marked inside cover. There are some surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The cover of the teapot is slightly bruised and so doesn't close properly. There are otherwise some small dings. The tray has some wear to the silver plate. This is especially noticeable to the shield which has lost approximately 3/4 of the plating. The inscription reads 'This Tray and Accompanying Silver Tea and Coffee Set were presented to Mr Walter Lewis Smith Borough Accountant by the Members of the Gt Yarmouth Town Council & the Chief Officials of the Borough as a token of their esteem & Friendship & to mark his completion of fifty year zealous and devoted service in the financial department of the Corporation Sept 11th 1928'.

Each piece is marked underneath with maker's mark 'OM' only. The mark is generally clear on the hot milk-jug and sugar-bowl though is somewhat worn on the teapot. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the high points. There is some loss to the ebonised material on the handles. These may be later replacements. The cover of the sugar-bowl is bruised and somewhat ill-fitting.
Two Indian Silver Cream-Jugs and a Sugar-Bowl, Apparently Unmarked, Late 19th Century, the cream-jugs each repoussé and chased with differing foliage on a matted ground, one with a handle cast as a cobra and with anthemion border, the other with a leaf-capped handle, the sugar-bowl similarly chased to the first cream-jug, Together With: A Pair of Sugar-Tongs, the sugar-bowl 8cm diameter, 9oz 13dwt (4) . Each piece is unmarked. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points. There are a number of bruises to the sides of each, these are worse on the cream-jug with cobra handle and the sugar-bowl.

Marked under base and on cover bezel. The marks are generally clear though the St Petersburg town mark is somewhat badly struck. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is most noticeable to the finial.
