Bemalt mit feinen Vignetten von exotischen Vögeln in einer grünen Gitterbordüre mit purpurnen Punktrosetten zwischen Blumenbouquets auf der mit Rokoko-Relief verzierten Fahne, eingefasst in Gold. Bestehend aus: ovale Suppenterrine, Gemüseschüssel, zwei Saucieren, 18 Teller (26 cm), 22 Teller (24,5 cm), 16 Teller (22 cm), 18 Teller (20 cm), 18 Teller (16 cm), 18 Suppentasse mit Unterteller, 4 runde Beilagenschalen, zwei kleine Salieren, eine Fischplatte, 4 runde Platten (33 cm, 36 cm), 2 ovale Platten (40,5 cm, 44 cm), eine Kaffeekanne, eine Teekanne, zwei Cremiers, eine Zuckerdose, 6 Teetasssen und Untertassen, 12 Kaffeetassen und 11 Untertassen. Grün gestempeltes Wappenschild und Nymphenburg.(180).Provenienz: Privatbesitz, Genf.Dieses Dekor geht zurück auf ein prachtvolles Sèvres-Service, das König Ludwig XV. von Frankreich als diplomatisches Geschenk für seinen Verbündeten Kurfürst Karl Theodor von der Pfalz, 1760 in Auftrag geben liess. Es befindet sich heute in der Münchener Residenz. Zwei Jahre später liess der Kurfürst das französische Service mit 40 neuen Teilen mit diesem Dekor, in der kurfürstlichen Frankenthaler Porzellanmanufaktur ergänzen. Die Verbindung der beiden Manufakturen steht in Zusammenhang mit der Verlegung des kurfürstlichen Hofes 1799 von Mannheim nach München. Gleichzeitig wurde die Manufaktur in Frankenthal stillgelegt. Viele Formen gelangten auf diese Weise an die Wittelsbacher Manufaktur Nymphenburg, wo sie bis Anfang des 20. Jh. nachproduziert wurden (F. H. Hofmann 1911, II, Taf. 187f, Abb. 736, 740). Two years later, the Elector had the French service supplemented with 40 new items featuring this decoration by the Elector's Frankenthal Porcelain Manufactory.
