HAMMERSLEY/SPODE; a 'Strawberry Ripe' pattern thirty-eight piece part tea service. Additional InformationThe service has been used, so there is some rubbing to the gilding, and scratches to the surface of the plates and saucers etc. The teapot with some hairline cracks at the interior where the spout joins the body, and two hairline cracks to the rim of the teapot also. The teapot lid is cracked. The Strawberry service with chips to the underside of the jug and sugar bowl. The large fruit bowl has a rim chip and is crazed throughout.
Two early 20th Century Edwardian silver hallmarked items. The lot to include a sugar shaker having pierced and engraved foliate detailing to the lid, reverse tapering body and round stepped plinth base (hallmarked Chester 1902). Together with a footed bowl of plain form (hallmarked Sheffield 1910). Measures 12cm tall (shaker), bowl measures 6.5cm tall. Total weight 127.8g.
