Assay marked Glasgow 1925, Fenton Russell & Co Ltd, 68oz Coffee and tea pot are both in excellent all round condition, some very very minor surface abrasions. Cream jug is in very good condition, two very small indentations RHS of hallmarks. Sugar basin is in very good condition, the bottom of the bowl has a risen bump, there is also a very small indentation to the exterior just below a handle

AN AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN SILVER-GILT AND ENAMEL CABARET SET, HERMANN BÖHM, VIENNA, LATE 19TH CENTURY painted with a variety of mythological and classical scenes surrounded by scrolling acanthus on a cream ground, with basse-taille enamelled borders, cast figural and scroll enamel detailed handles, comprising a tray, a sugar bowl and cover, a pair of jugs in sizes, two cups and two saucers, all in their original red velvet lined gilt-tooled leather case tray 38cm long (11) Hermann Böhm, moving from Hungary to Vienna, went into business with his father-in-law, Leopold Pollitzer, in 1866, becoming by the time of the Vienna International Exhibition of 1873 one of the most prominent and prolific producers of Historismus pieces in Vienna.
