Bread dish with some scratching on central surface. Weight 14oz. Sweetmeat dish in good condition. Weight 11oz Fruit spoon stamped ‘Sterling’ in raised lettering. Sifter spoon: stamped ‘Duhme & Co’. Spoons in good condition, weights 5oz and 3oz. Sugar basin: stamped ‘Sterling’, in addition to the Birmingham hallmark. Initials probably removed from one of the cartouche reserves. Weight 6.5oz.

(2) £100-£150 --- Condition Report Both hallmarked rubbed but legible. Second bowl with slight twist to one side of its foot, where it may have been dropped on a hard surface. Combined weight 16oz.

This service would appear to have had plenty of use and as is often the way, some plates have had more exposure to use than others and some are really quite worn.Coffee set: Coffee pot lacks cover, one saucer with rim chip. The coffee part of this service appears to have had little use as there is little or no wear.Service proper.Two spare lids without bases. Two additional plates (possibly shallow soup plates) very worn.
