A late Foley/Shelley floral and ornamental and transfer decorated tea set comprising eight trios, two spare saucers and two plates, two sandwich plates, a large sugar bowl and a cream jug. CONDITION REPORT: Cream jug - crazing to glaze and scratches to inside. Surface dirt (probably removable), possible staining to few examples. Cups - slight crazing to some, 6-7 with hairlines to rims, other with tiny nicks or transfer flaws. Saucers - some rubbing to transfer decoration, hairline cracks to two of them. Plates - some rubbing to decoration/gilding, crazing to six examples, two with glazing cracks. Large plates - some wear.

CONDITION REPORT: Spirit kettle - lid doesn't close properly, traces of cleaning material. Teapot - OK. Cream jug - small dent under monogram. Mild tarnish throughout.

Some hallmarks have been over polished and are therefore slightly faded. Lid, wingnut and body all partially or fully hallmarked. A bruise to the sugar bowl. Very good solid gauge. Pitting, wear and surface scratches evident.
