A Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery crocus pattern part tea set comprised of five cups, nine saucers, three side plates, a milk jug, 10.5cm high and a sugar bowl, 7.5cm high, all pieces marked to the base CONDITION REPORT: Four cups with some patches of crazing to the glaze and a few very minor scratches to the decoration. One cup with extensive crazing and possibly a hairline crack running down from the rim approximately 2cm long, although not visible on the inside of the cup. Jug with a few areas of crazing and a small firing fault beneath the spout. There is a hairline crack visible on the inside running up from the foot, approximately 2cm long Sugar bowl has scratches to the inside of the bowl Plates - Two heavily crazed in places. The other has no crazing but there is a 4 point star hairline crack to the centre of the plate which is only visible on the bottom. Saucers - One with a chip to the underside of the rim with general scratches and some wear to the brown ground. Two with general scratches and wear to the brown ground, one with very small chip to the rim. Six with crazing to the glaze, general scratches and wear to the brown ground including one with small chip to the rim.

Sugar bowl - One handle broken and re-glued, hairline crack to bowl and lid, wear to rose head finial.
