An 18th century Maltese silver sugar bowl and cover, marked MA with an eight-pointed cross and crown, Emmanuel Pinto period 1741-1773, also marked with petal mint mark and another unidentified mark, circular bellied form, embossed shell and foliate decoration, on a matted background, the pull-off cover with a foliate finial, on a raised circular foot, height 12.2cm, approx. weight 5.8oz..
