A 19th century twenty two piece tea service, possibly Spode decorated with hand-painted floral sprays inside gilt scrolling detail and grapevines, comprising teapot, teapot stand, twin handled lidded sugar bowl, milk jug,, six large cups, six smaller cups, six saucers (22). Additional InformationTeapot with crack to handle, minor staining to teapot stand, crazing throughout, fine hairline crack to milk jug, three larger cups are damaged, one crack and two with chips, three smaller cups sound flat when flicked although no cracks evident, one saucer with tiny chip to rim. No visible pattern numbers.

These may clean off. One of the saucers is grubby and with similar red marks. Two of the dessert bowls also with some of the same red marks. One of the tureens with a small chip at the rim. Despite faults, overall appearance OK.

Birbeck, the cup and saucer with differing maker's marks, a Continental coffee cup and saucer painted with floral sprays, an early 19th century coffee can painted with purple flowers, an ironstone coffee can with moulded and printed detailing, a Coalport gilt and blue coffee can, a Continental jug, a Spode Imari pattern scent bottle and stopper and a 19th century Rockingham style sugar bowl and cover (14).Additional InformationThe Davenport plate with some minor rubbing to the gilding at the edge but essentially good but the bat wing cup does not ring, perhaps with a little glazing, the bat wing saucer with a few light glaze scratches, the George Jones saucer with some rubbing to the gilding, the cup with minor rubbing, both are clearly signed, the Spode scent bottle and stopper with age wear rubbing to the gilding around the rim and the foot and also to the stopper, the scent bottle is moulded with a bird sitting on a perch, the early 19th century coffee can has hairline cracks and crazing to the base and some staining in the glaze to the base, it also has a hairline crack to one side, the moulded ironstone coffee can is slightly irregular in shape and with general light age wear, the Continental coffee cup and saucer and similar jug with general rubbing to the gilt detailing throughout, the sugar bowl and cover with three small chips to the internal edge of the rim and some rubbing to the gilt detailing.
