A small Victorian English silver two handled Sugar Bowl, of oval shape with embossed and reeded body, Birmingham c. 1889, by N. & H. approx. 4 ozs; also a small Birmingham silver Mug, c. 1920, approx. 4 ozs. (2)Provenance: The Mansfield Family, formerly of Morristown Lattin, Naas, Co. Kildare.
A rare pair of Charles Gouyn, St.James's factory 'Girl-in-a-swing' tea canisters and covers: of lobed ovoid form moulded with yellow drapery suspended from rings, the domed covers with applied strawberry finials, painted overall with floral sprays, insects and a caterpillar, one with incised cross mark to base, circa 1750-55, 13 cm high [one with chip to foot rim, one cover with hairline crack, both finials with losses to strawberry leaves]. *Notes cf. 'Ceramics from the Rous Lench Collection' Christies 30th May 1990 lot 356 for a cream jug; and The Victoria and Albert Museum for a sugar-bowl and cover [C.49&A-1969], both similarly decorated and with applied strawberries and strawberry leaves. It would appear that no polychrome examples of this shape have previously been recorded. Literature: Elizabeth Adams 'Chelsea Porcelain' chapter 5, page 61 for a discussion of the shape.
A Samuel Alcock porcelain part tea service: each piece with melting snow borders and enamelled with panels of garden blooms reserved on a royal blue and gilt embellished ground, comprising six breakfast cups, five tea cups, six saucers, a milk jug, sugar box, cover and stand, waste bowl, and two bread and butter plates, painted pattern no. 1985, circa 1825-30, [one tea cup cracked, glue repair to handle of sugar box].
Irish Hallmarked Silver Presentation Set of Lincolnshire Regiment Interest, consisting of a tea pot with presentation inscription to centre “PRESENTED TO OFFICERS MESS 1ST BATT LINCOLNSHIRE 10TH REGT BY Lieut E A Plunkett 1898”. The tea pot has hallmarked silver Sphinx mounted to the lid. Bottom of the tea pot has Irish silver hallmarks and makers details of E Johnson, Dublin, date mark for 1898. Accompanied by Irish hallmarked silver milk jug and sugar bowl, both by the same maker and date, both pieces also decorated with Sphinx to handles. Set remains in generally good condition. (3 items)

A Persian white metal samovar, of diminutive form, having octagonal bulbous body, fitted with twin carry handles and tap, the sides decorated with engraved circular panels of arabesques and birds among flowers, the circular lid fitted twin wood handles and with hinged vent, terminating in crown with out swept rim for tea pot, the samovar grill to waist raised upon square base with quadruple ball feet, together with associated Persian white metal items to include; tray, cups and saucers, sugar bowl and nips, and shallow dish raised upon triple supports, all of diminutive form and with engraved decoration, some items with stamp in Arabic, all items assessed as silver, (total weight 1213g).
