Edwardian silver 'Cymric' Art Nouveau-style sugar bowl of circular form with pointed base, embossed Celtic knot decoration, on three loop feet (Birmingham 1902), Liberty & Co., model 247, by Archibald Knox. All at approximately 14.5ozs, 16.2cm diameter. (Refer to Archibald Knox, by Stephen A Martin - page 207) CONDITION REPORT Minor surface scratches and dents overall. Celtic-style decoration slightly worn. Feet pushed in and showing inside. Rim has traces of file marks and appears to have had inscription or similar removed. Hallmarks clear.
