A Crown Devon Fieldings part dinner service "Leaping Stag" decoration in the manner of Susie Cooper comprising six cups and saucers, tea plates, side plates, large and smaller dinner plates, sauceboat, sugar basin, triangular dish, vegetable tureen and two serving platters (essentially 6 place settings) CONDITION REPORTS Two teacups have large chips to the rims. Two of the smaller tea plates - one has a large chip. The other has significant wear to the pattern. One of the bigger tea plates has a chip to the red rim. Otherwise items are generally very dirty and in need of a good clean. All have general wear and tear to include knife marks, spoon marks and some light wear to the red paintwork. See images for examples.Majority in reasonable order though with some light surface scratching, wear and tear etc conducive with age and use - all could do with a good clean - see particularly the oval serving dish. Four cups with chips and/or damage to the rims/paintwork. Sugar bowl with star crack to base and crazing. Cream jug with repaired crack. One side plate with chip to rim - see images for further details.

Additional InformationAll of the small coffee cans with some crazing, most with some staining and two heavily stained. One with a chip to the underside of the base.One of the larger coffee cups with a rim chip and four with crazing. The lid to the sugar bowl is heavily crazed and stained, the base with some stain patches. Coffee pot and cover with crazing. Tureen lid with hair line crack and crazing. The other lid crazed and with a manufacturing flaw to the finial. One tureen base broken and glue repaired, a small hole remains in this item. One tureen base with some light crazing and the other with heavily crazing and some staining, One dinner plate with a slight chip to the underside of the rim, one plate with two small chips to side of the rim and with some loss to the black detailing. One plate with two underside rim chips and heavily crazed. All other large plates within some crazing and some enamel wear. Two of the side plates with heavy chipping to the rim, most of others with some crazing. All of the bowls with a chip and all with crazing. Small saucers with minor crazing. Large saucers each with some crazing.

Chinese silver three piece teaset, character mark and stamped Sterling, comprising teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug, each piece of compressed spherical form chased and embossed with dragons, bamboo effect handles, the teapot 15cm, the tongs with fiddle pattern handles engraved with dragons, 33oz gross, the tray of rectangular form, pierced and carved sides, white metal inset plaque with the initial 'C', white metal bamboo effect handles, 56cm.Qty: 5Condition report:The silverware is in very good condition, no significant dings, dents, or evidence of repair. The detailing remains crisp. Marks are good (tray handle stamped 'NK' which is an unidentified maker). The lid of the sugar bowl is a little loose fitting, and a slight distortion of the inner rim to the underside of the cover. The tray has slight movement in the handles - one of the pins is a little loose so could do with being resecured perhaps before being used as a load-bearing tray. The wooden element is on the whole very good, minor wear. All pieces have the engraved Gothic font 'C' to the cartouches, including tray and sugar nips.

The sugar bowl is dated 1923 (asterisk + 7 dots).Coffee pot: np chips, hairlines or restoration. There are however some surface scratches to the fruit around the waist of the pot.Sugar bowl: no chips, hairlines or restoration. Light surface wear to the interior; some very light wear to the exterior.Shuck signed saucers: both good, no chips, hairlines or restoration, just minor surface wear.Rushton signed saucer: good, no chips, hairlines or restoration, just minor surface wear.R Austin signed can and saucer: no chips, hairlines or restoration. Some pinpoint losses of decoration on both.H Powell can: fine hairline crack running across the width of the base. Some pinpoint losses to the decoration.W Hale signed coffee cans: both in good condition, no chips, hairlines or restoration. Some light surface wear. One has some rando flecks of gilding to the painted exterior (i.e. not where gilding should be).No crazing on any pieces.

George IV silver four-piece tea service, Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard, London 1821, each piece of squat circular form, cast and repousee decoration, scrolls, flowers, acanthus leaves, scallop formed feet, comprising a teapot, 16cm, hot water jug, 20cm, two-handled sugar bowl and milk jug, 74oz in total.Condition report:General degree of detailing is good but would benefit a clean as the repousee borders and details are clogged with cleaning residue.Teapot: there is a compression to the curvature of the handle, and several shallow compressions/ dents to the lower body of the pot (below the repousee border). Good elsewhere, hinge is fine and cover closes flush. Ivory insulators. Marks partially rubbed.Hot water pot: Three compressions/ dents to the lower body. Marks partially rubbed. Gilt interior is very faint. Good elsewhere.Milk jug: Possibly re-shaped rim and spout. Several existing fine splits to the rim with one or two spot repairs. The shape of the main body is good. The handle is a little angled so has been distorted at some point. Marks good.Sugar bowl:  Similar fine old splits to the rim, mostly noticed on the underside. Shape is generally good, a small ding to the interior well is evident. Gilt interior partially worn. Marks partially rubbed.

Matched George IV three-piece silver teaset, the teapot by Joseph Craddock & William Ker Reid, London 1823, milk jug and sugar bowl by George Hunter II, London 1825, chased and embossed floral decoration, the teapot with engraved inscription, presented to The Rev Irving AM by the Infant Scotch Church, Birmingham..., 45oz total, in a later fitted mahogany case.Condition report:Repousee decoration to all three remains good and detailed but would benefit from a professional clean.Teapot: cover sits slightly proud when down. hinge and interior are heavily stained. Shape is generally good. Marks to underside are very crisp. Slight compression to the handle. Ivory insulators.Milk jug: handle distorted slightly. Spout is pressed downward quite significantly and the pedestal has been compressed a little into the base. Gilt interior good. Marks partially rubbed under the spout.Sugar bowl: probable old repair to the pedestal. Shape in general is good. Case: cover is split across the middle and also other split to front edge and corners. The front and side planks also have splits. Lock mechanism, has been removed. Handles and metal inset plaque are heavily corroded.
