A George VI child's tea set commemorating The Coronation May 12th 1937 comprising teapot, plates, and cups and saucers CONDITION REPORTS 6 cups, 6 saucers, 4 plates, sugar bowl, jug, tea pot - All items in the lot are in used condition with general wear, scratches, rubbing etc from day to day use, all items the glazing is very crazed and some rubbing to the red line decoration throughout, the red on the tea cup , saucers and plates is not quite the same as on tea pot, sugar and milk jug, however, this may possibly have been like this when made, the red of the tea top and the lid are slightly different and does not fit all that well, again may have been made like this. Sugar bowl has a hairline crack from outer edge approx 2 cm and a small chip to the base, jug has pin head chip to base and some slight discolouration to the inside of cups
