A 19th century porcelain dessert service, comprising a sugar bowl and cover, a pair of baskets, a pair of shaped oval dishes and another similar and 14 plates, of shaped circular form, decorated views within a blue border and with gilt decoration, all numbered 941 (20) See inside front cover colour illustration Condition report Report by RBPlease note, they are numbered 941.Overall note - nice, good, clean and crisp.Circular dish and cover (dish and stand moulded as one), small hairline crack to base of one of handles, otherwise good.A pair of shaped oval dishes, generally good. There are also a pair of (slightly smaller) shaped oval stands and one (single) similar stand with handles to match the bowls, although I am not entirely certain whether the bowls sit on the stands, or whether over time one of the two handle stands has been lost and that is what they should sit on, but generally good overall with a couple of very minor chips, mostly to the rims. The 14 plates, 22 cm diameter, overall generally good, there are two which have some rubbing to the gilt, on the border, there are a couple of very minor and occasional chips, mostly to the rim underside, and a couple of very minor and occasional small firing cracks.Overall lovely fresh and vibrant, really struggling to find any major faults.
