An extensive Royal Crown Derby "Derby Posies" dinner tea and coffee service, comprising 9 dinner plates, 6 dessert plates, large tureen and cover, 7 consomme bowls, 2 preserve pots, 4 egg cups, 6 small shaped dishes, coffee pot, small teapot, 12 saucers, 6 coffee can saucers, 7 side plates, 2 sandwich plates, 6 tea cups, 7 coffee cups, boxed sugar bowl and cream jug and other items, and a Denby Rockingham floral Festival pattern teapot (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: As per the description there are 9 dinner plates. However there is a tenth plate with a similar but not exact pattern also made by Derby. The dinner plates are all in good condition with no cracks or chips. They all show signs of very light use. The soup bowls show no signs of use and have no cracks, chips or loss of gilding. All tea plates are in good condition showing only light use. There are no chips or cracks. All saucers are in good condition showing only light signs of use. One of the smaller cups has a crack running from the rim to the bowl. One of the small cups has a chip to the rim. The rest are all in good condition having no chips, cracks, restoration or loss of gilding. The small teapot has a +/- 10 cm crack to its body. The large sugar basin has a crack running from the lip to the bowl. All other pieces are in very good condition with only some items showing light use.
An English bone china six place part tea set, circa 1900, comprising 6 cups and saucers, 4 side plates, sugar bowl, cream jug and bread plate, each with printed decoration heightened with enamels and with gilt rims, printed mark verso numbered 2523, together with a quart size and a half pint pottery jugs each with applied sprig toping scenes and with moulded greyhound handles, 18 cm and 11 cm respectively.

CONDITION REPORT: This service has clearly seen very little use. We have had a look at each piece and can see no chips or any cracks or other condition issues.

The milk jug, sucrier and cover and teapot cover all with a small rim chip each. Overall very good. Gilding good.

Firing crack to tub.One of the shell dishes with two cracks to the rim near handle. All quite scratched to the glaze.Of the oval dishes, one has a small shallow rim chip. Light stacking wear.The square dishes are without damage or repairs, just some stacking wear and scratches.
A Sèvres dark blue ground sugar bowl and cover, date letter K for 1763 and painter's CP mark probably for Caton, blue interlaced marks painted with exotic birds in trees, within gilt foliate and scroll cartouches (restored rim chips to cover, rubbing to gilding) 7.7cm high/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Cover with two restored rim chips with hairline crack to inner flange. Minor chipping to flower/leaf finial. Some surface scratching to enamels and rubbing to gilding.
