Next 33.5 cm high, stamped J HERRIDGE & CO/Grocers/GILLINGHAM, and stamped PRIEST'S CANTON CARDIFF, and stamped 1, small chip to neck, a couple of others in body and around foot. Also a couple of firing cracks in base. Jar, no handle, 31 cm high, impressed mark to base which appears to read DOULTON & Co LAMBETH LTD within circle, top stencilled initials in black S.R.D., jar with several knocks, chips and cracked. Next 25.5 cm high, stamped R W BORLEY/Wine & Spirit Merchants/ SHAFTESBURY, and with oval printed mark PRICE BRISTOL 19, general wear with knocks and bumps Two similar, both 25.5 cm high and with black writing THIS IS THE PROPERTY OF MATTHEWS & Co WYKE BREWERY GILLINGHAM, and impressed with oval mark PRICE BRISTOL 21, one numbered 597 in black, the other numbered 610. 597 with general wear, 610 with general wear and chip to neck.
