CONDITION REPORT: Three dessert bowls have nibbles to the rims, one teacup has a hairline running full height of the cup, one saucer has a chip underneath the rim, one side plate form the trio has two small chips to the rim, sandwich plate has a small chip underneath the rim and has got one glazing imperfection, the three section dish has got crazing particularly to the centre.

He subsequently moved to the workshop of R E Stone where he won the first of multiple Jacques Cartier Awards. His career then continued with Gerald Benny. In 1968 he won the commission for Southend Civic Plate and this signalled the start of his own business. He undertook numerous commissions and, in 1973, The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths provided him with a one-man show. He continued working until 2011.
