The Dutch box with beaded borders. the sides and pull-off cover embossed with 18th century figures and animals in pastoral scenes, Dutch marks for 1912, 6.5cm high overall, 8.25cm diameter overall (2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches), 130g (a little over 4 ozs); the shaped-round and broad-fluted sugar bowl, mark of Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1902, 12cm diameter (4 3/4 inches), 129g (a little over 4 ozs)

Transfer printed RD number to base with embossed RD number to cream jug. Note included from vendor, 'Given by Lord Stanley of Alderley Park to occupants of his cottages so that he had something decent to drink out of when hunting' (14) In good condition, no damage or restoration or wear to gold leaf.
