A good early 19th Century three piece heavy silver Tea Service, the Tea Pot of squat melon shape and with finely chased foliate designs and with cast finial modelled as a bud, the Milk Jug and two handled Sugar similarly decorated and each raised on four outswept feet with `C` scrolls and headed with anthemions, the Tea Pot assayed London 1826, the Sugar Bowl London 1825 and the Milk Jug assayed London (date letter rubbed), length of Tea Pot incl. spout and handle 28cm, total gross silver weight approx. 1341g, (3)

He applied for naturalisation in the Federal Court of New York on January 2nd 1806 (Ensko p227). Old repair to handle of jug otherwise in very good original condition with slight wear to the engraving, the initials on one side contemporary, the second shield not engraved
