SHELLEY; a six setting part tea set comprising six octagonal teacups (two af), saucers (at least two af) and side plates (four af), cream jug, sugar bowl (af) and sandwich plate (af), with printed marks to bases.Additional InformationSandwich plate cracked with a dull ring, some visible crazing to this item and a probable crack to the reverse surface level. Another three of the side plates with either very pronounced crazing or probable cracks resulting in dull rings. One of the saucers with clearly visible spreading hairline cracks, another saucer af - cracked, the sugar bowl also af with numerous hairline cracks. The cream jug with a crack or pronounced scratch visible to the interior. At least one of the teacups with pronounced crazing resulting in a short hollow ring, another teacup with no visible crazing but a very short and dull ring. Another teacup with hairline crack, another with visible crazing and a short ring. Further surface wear, rubbing to detail and generally short rings, even if no visible crazing or damage.

One of the side plates with staining, one of the tea cups with staining. Otherwise, no visible damage, light general wear including usual scuffing to the foot rims, some light rubbing to detail, some fritting to rims. The Bonn vase lid cracked through, further damage and cracks to the base stem. The flask with chip to the mask detail of the upper section, further surface scuffs, glaze losses and abrasions to both items.

Additional InformationThe quatrefoil bowl with staining, old chip which has been partly glued back, also firing fault to the foot rim. Crazing and wear throughout, heavy staining to the interior of the sugar bowl, also a firing crack. Restoration to the teapot cover, also a hairline crack to body and restoration throughout. The saucers with floral sprigs and gilt border with star crack to base. The red and white teacup with hairline crack to body. The black and white saucer is heavily crazed and does not ring when flicked. One of the Delphini cups is cracked.
