Rare 18th century Lowestoft blue and white miniature or toy tea service, circa 1762 - 1765, painted with boats, pagodas in Chinese landscapes with swag border - comprising globular teapot and cover, 11cm wide, sucrier, 6.5cm diameter, sparrow beak jug with replacement white metal handle, 5.5cm high, five tea bowls, 4.8cm diameter and six saucers, 7.5cm diameter (15).Reference: Sheenah Smith, Lowestoft Porcelain in the Norwich Castle Museum, page 218 CONDITION REPORT Teapot handle has been broken, re-stuck. Milk jug has replaced metal handle, slight rim chip to sugar bowl. One saucer with large rim loss, elsewhere a little staining and minor imperfections. Some associated discolouration and some old glue residue also
