An impressive Victorian silver Regimental presentation centrepiece gifted to Colonel Vincent Williams by Officers of the 4th Battalion of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers in 1884, mounted upon a stepped ebonised trefoil base with three silver dated plaques and three silver model infantrymen, representing the 4th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, the Royal Angelsey & Carnarvon Militia and the Royal Carnarvon Rifles, the centrepiece with turned embossed stem with ram's heads and gargoyle masks with swags, below a wheel cut and frosted glass bowl and two handles modelled as the head of Medusa, Frederick Courthope, London, 1884, overall height 22.5in.
