Lot 431

A Rene Lalique "Ondines" pattern press moulded clear and opalescent glass bowl, model No 320 circa 1921, the circular body relief moulded with water nymphs, wheel cut "R. Lalique France" and model number to lower edge, 21cm diameter (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:The piece shows a small moulding fault at the top of a moulding seam with a small internal fracture behind it.  There is a further moulding fault comprising two parallel trails approximately 2cm long and 0.5mm apart to the interior.  The body shows various small air bubbles, some of which appear to contain very small amounts of a residue.  The base shows wear and surface scratching to the interior and exterior commensurate with age and use.
