19th CENTURY MAHOGANY SARCOPHAGUS TEA CADDY, having two compartments to the interior with fitted cut glass circular bowl, standing on bun feet with ring turned handles. 13.5" x 7.5" x 8" approx (33 x 18 x 20cm) CONDITION REPORT: Wear to the brass lock, minor surface wear, scratches commensurate with age. Glass bowl is not original, wear and losses to fabric. Zinc is missing from tea caddy boxes. Minor losses in places.
