An early 18th Century toastmasters glass circa 1720, deceptive funnel bowl above a heavy baluster stem with internal tear, raised to a folded conical foot, bowl A/F, height 12cm, together with a later firing type glass with funnel bowl, shallow plain stem and wide circular spread foot, height 10cm. An 18th Century giant ale glass circa 1765, oversized funnel bowl above a double series opaque twist stem with eleven ply spiral outside a central gauze, raised to a conical foot, height 35.5cm. Provenance - This glass was exhibited in the Circle of Glass Collectors Commemorative exhibition in 1962 held at the Victorian and Albert Museum (catalogue ref 264) then also at the Victoria and Albert Exhibition of English Glass in 1968 (catalogue ref 153)
An early 19th Century rummer circa 1800, ogee bowl with applied blue rim above basal moulding into the shallow stem, raised to a conical foot, height 12.5cm. Provenance - This glass was exhibited in the Circle of Glass Collectors Commemorative exhibition in 1962 held at the Victorian and Albert Museum (catalogue ref 378) then also at the Victoria and Albert Exhibition of English Glass in 1968 (catalogue ref 262)
